I have worked for nearly 20 years the oil painting, I love the mixture of pigments. I can retake some color on color to achieve an improbable mix ... not to mention the thickness of the paint on the canvas that eventually give you a sense of relief, sculpture. For Carré d´artistes®, I paint on paper USING knife, pastels. On the canvas, I like to have the thickness, an idea of sculpture. So, I can sew the fabric, add some anecdotal objects found during my travels, lace ... |
At the center : the character
My favorite subject is the character. I represent him alone or in procession. I seek to convey a feeling, an atmosphere, a mood around hieratic characters resolutely proud.
My characters sometimes overlap each other in an upward movement in unison. The ultimate goal is to create the connivance: divine message!

Symbolist inspiration
I love the Symbolist period where I draw some of their magic: Moreau, Rouault, Fussli for drawing perfect body. I like something is going beyond what is shown.
Exhibition Mon amour
Human feelings are my favorite subjects, so naturally I loved participating in the show about love. What more glorious feeling!

Patricia Mulko and Carré d´artistes® I believe in serendipity, I was one of the first artists to exhibit artists at Carré d´artistes®. I confess that at first, paint the squares was difficult (I tend not to respect a dimension imposed), but I was immediately excited about the project.

I hope a long time to share with art lovers for my taste great feelings, those who make us want to go even higher.
