The Abelard´s paintings are real sculptures bas-relief, a call to touch. The characters seem to be living, and ask questions about their identities. Each artwork is an assemblage, as if the reality was fragmented in the eye of the artist he would try to rebuild.
His carrer : Abelardo graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Havana (Cuba). His artistic career is a continuous return between painting and sculpture. He is currently exhibiting at the Museum of Fine Arts in Havana end the Gallery Collection America Miami. It is also referenced in the dictionary of "Spanish painters and sculptors of the 20th century.
