Daniel
Daniel started drawing at an early age and sharpened his skills at the School of Fine Arts. After graduation, he worked as a graphic designer, creating his own company and working for clients such as UNICEF, Pierre Balmain and the UN ... At forty, he began to question his move away from art, and a meeting with the painter Pierre Doutreleau gave rise to his desire to live his dream of becoming an artist.

“To speak about my painting… It is like asking a goldfish why he swims. He swims simply because he does not know how to do anything else. We can marvel at the spectacle or find it a sad triviality. The fish does not care. The only thing he asks is that no one comes to remove him from the water.”
Background: Born in 1959 in the Dordogne, Daniel has been drawing since he was very young. A graduate of the Beaux Arts of Bordeaux, he worked as a graphic designer, creating his company and working for Unicef, Pierre Balmain and the United Nations… Then, at 40 years of age, he reverted to the paint brush, purely for the pleasure. Today he exhibits in St Paul de Vence, Montpelier, Paris and in Aix les Bains...To cut a long story short, purely for the pleasure!
