Aurélia Chapelain

Aurelia revisits the poetic world of old books, those of children and old catalogs. She draws from these papers found on markets and these small pieces of driftwood and bone found at the seaside, a fun and burlesque world. Cutting, pasting on a black background, she makes for us few images of the past. One way to share with others her dreams, her obsessions, her disillusionment. Her career: 30 years old, residing in the South of France, Aurelia followed a Master of Fine Arts in Aix en Provence. Then she launched into the paint. She has exhibited since 2001 in several galleries including Provence.
