Cherifa Bounab-Wexler

Sherifa creates world between realism and fantasy. Her landscapes and portraits are inspired by a narrative dimension of surrealism, comic strips and stories for children. It sticks, torn, painted, scratched, drawn ... to obtain a "snapshot" in which the viewer can imagine a story.

Her career : After completing one year of pre-school competitions in art workshop Hourdé, Sherifa conducts a course in visual communication at the ESAT com Paris. After an internship in a studio, it becomes independent designer and illustrator in 2004. In parallel, it assembles various projects in connection with the illustration. She now devotes more of his work and inspiring author Carré d´artists.
