Monique Chrétien

Monique works colors and materials on dark media that enable it to exploit the contrasts of light and shadow. She uses pastels, acrylic and oil which are all techniques that fit his temperament. Her career: Monique was born in Havre in 1952. She moved to Provence in 1975. Light is the basis of her painting. Drawing has always played the leads to be followed during the various workshops and private, for three years, those of the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Aix en Provence, where she was admitted as a student free. Today, she lives in the South of France and exhib in Carré d´artistes´ galery.
