Painting on move

"I paint, I sculpt, I can not imagine my life without color, without movement. I am my characters on the canvas, I watch his movements.

Where are they going to ? I´m curious to know. Where is she go the woman so determined, which metting, about what love is she directed to ?

Painting and music are my world everyday. If I see a woman caressing a cello, they are a unit, their bodies are alike, and they have assembled an array. In fact it is them who do. I´m only a spectator to see the music is broken down into colors."

A city univers

"Then I have a street here, a sky there, a memory, a landscape, a bridge.
Bridges, could I call them my bridges? Yes I also give them a privileged place. They allow us to reach the other shore, which often takes us to new horizons.

The city, it is essential to me because it is not trivial, it contains me, it reassures me. It keeps to itself the secret that I guess and try to steal. I courted for me it unveils its colors, the stories that hide each of its windows. It is this universe where I want to tell and share with those who observe my work, make him feel this way, through images, a moment of escape.

The city of Paris attracts me. I could paint all the colors I am only conditioned by a consistency that I sometimes difficult to keep. However, it is so beautiful!
The city is life, I try to incorporate the characters that inhabit it. They are often myself but also the unknown, the common citizen who galley and to which I give him the lift off to the world happier."

Pastels colors, sometimes more colored

"The oil painting is the only constant in my work. I never stop in the research subjects, I tell myself that everything around me must be painted.
I always work in oil, I brush my sketches and I enrich my colors with a spatula. My palette is pastel but recently I dare red and blue, while maintaining a whimsical."

"I started painting there 30 years. I always loved drawing, taking some courses at the Fine Arts Angouleme who allowed me to practice different techniques but I consider myself primarily self taught. Exhibitions, I made several in Charente since I was born in Angoulême, I have traveled the region and the coast. This last decade, I worked and exhibited in Paris where I have my studio, my wife and my dog.

I spent some time in Argentina, in the middle of the mountain and it allowed me to get to know people, their customs, their expectations, inner world so that despite our cultural differences, we all animated by the desire for friendship and success."
