The accessible art arrives in Cologne in Germany !

Cologne, one of the oldest cities in Germany, offers many historic, cultural and artistic treasures. It is a major cultural center of the Rhineland and has a vibrant arts scene as well. Cologne is home to more than 30 museums and hundreds of galleries. Exhibitions range from local ancient Roman archaeological sites to contemporary graphics and sculpture.
The Cologne Trade Fair hosts a number of trade shows such as "Art Cologne".
The University of Cologne is one of Europe´s oldest universities.
| Carré d’artistes® decided to open the doors of its 12th gallery on March the 1st; the day before the opening of a major event in the city: the well-known Cologne Carnival. Celebrated since 2000, it will be held from 3rd to 9th March of 2011 on the square Heumarkt and in the historic center. |
This new art gallery which supports the creation and artistic diversity is located a few steps from the Cathedral and will exhibit 25 international artists.
It gives the opportunity for the German public and tourists to encounter contemporary art, in an original and welcoming setting.
